As &#8220;perfect&#8221; generic design becomes cheap, distinct and empathetic design becomes priceless. <strong>This article argues that while AI can replace the <em>technician<\/em>, it cannot replace the <em>intuitive architect<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The data supports this shift: Design led companies outperform peers by <strong>32% in revenue growth<\/strong> (McKinsey), and for every $1 invested in UX, companies see a <strong>$100 return<\/strong> (Forrester). The fear is that AI will replace the designer.
